This cleverly modified A-frame design combines a dramatic exterior with an exciting interior that offers commanding views through its many windows. It is one of our most popular A-frames and has been built in many locations. The central foyer opens to a spacious living room and dining room combination with a soaring cathedral ceiling and a massive stone fireplace.

QUICK Cost-To-Build estimates are available for single family, stick-built, detached, 1 story, 1.5 story and 2 story home plans with attached or detached garages, pitched roofs on flat to gently sloping sites.QUICK Cost-To-Build estimates are not available for specialty plans and construction such as garage / apartment, townhouse, multi-family, hillside, flat roof, concrete walls, log cabin, home additions, and other designs inconsistent with the assumptions outlined in Item 1 above.
User is able to select and have costs instantly calculate for slab on grade, crawlspace or full basement options.

A: Dwg files are for CAD We do not have this house available in CAD
Q: How open is the basement...are there any supports besides the walls?
A: There is a center row of columns and 2 additional columns
Q: I am getting ready to build this cottage and am trying to decide on whether or not to do the PDF or the five sets. Can you please tell me how many pages are within this plan? Also, if I get the PDF file am I able to remove the wall between the two bedrooms downstairs before printing? Thanks, Jennifer Nichols
A: There are 7 pages in the construction documents. The wall between the bedrooms can be removed but since it is a bearing wall supporting floor beams, either a girder will be required or more likely, a change in direction for the floor beams will be necessary. Those changes could be made from the PDF but I do suggest a local professional for guidance.
